Photography

I am always a bit nervous about using photos in my projects as these kind of projects are often very ambitious, requiring photoshop skills. I recently tried to get out of my comfort zone and explore photoshop and illustrator. My project was to produce a fictional advertisement campaign for a cream called Hippoderm( with extracts of hippo sweat :P). I did have fun  a lot of fun with this project but because I am a perfectionist I feel my work can never reach it’s potential as I always hit some kind of technical brick wall. I  hate making the effort to solve such technical problems and then finding out the answer on some techy website but not understanding the technical vocabulary.

For example this image of the Hippoderm pot could have been placed on the actual poster but I didn't know how to do it( this is an easy trick for photoshop experts!).If I decided to do photography for the FMP I would need to learn how to do these "basic" things.
